No sound in slackware9.1! Help!

Because of the problem of dependency, I give the RedHat up. I installed the slackware9.1 successfully in the first time!
   
    The slackware works well except the sound card.  Acorrding to our BBS, I inputed the "alsaconf" ,and chose the via82XX, and it showed no error. But untill now, I have heard no voice in my system. I don't know why?

     Help me,please!

And I recompiled the alsa-1.0.2, it doesn't work either!

试试用alsamixer或aumix调一调音量

  I turned all the channels of alsamixer on and turn them up to the utmost if they can. But it still doesn't work.

   Someone told me that some channels of the alsamixer could be muted or set to very low volumes.Which ones?
