suse10.2 无线上网和设置nvidia显卡的问题

因为是linux的新手，从昨天晚上开始到现在，虽然已经看过了不少文章介绍怎么使用，不过还是解决不了问题，所以发个帖子，希望大家能帮我一下，先谢谢了。

关于上网的问题：
任务栏上的那个网络连接显示是正常的，
显示已经连接上：Wireless network connection to "Netgear" (92%)

我的设置：
IP address:  192.168.0.7
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

在name server这项，我按照一篇文章介绍的把我的Router地址放在第一位
name server 1: 192.168.0.1
name server 2: 122.148.1.5
name server 3: 123.2.1.5

网关: 192.168.0.1

查看连接信息：
Active Connection Information
Interface: Wireless Ethernet (eth1)
Speed: 54 Mb/s
Driver: ipw3945

IP Address: 192.168.0.7
Broadcast Address: 255.255.255.255
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Route: 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS: 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS: 122.148.1.5

问题是：当我打开firefox，不能打开任何一个网页
提示的结果是：
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.google.com
怎么回事呢？

显卡的问题是：
我的显卡是Nvidia Geforce 7700， 我下载了NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.11-pkg1.run.
按照文章介绍的步骤操作如下：
安装kernel, gcc
init 3
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.11-pkg1.run -q
首先提示的是关于download.nvidia.com，估计没有网，所以查不到？
然后就开始下面的安装，提示已经complete
然后我就打入sax2 -m 0=nvidia
下面没有更改任何设置，就保存了，然后init 5
发现桌面效果里还是开启不了3D加速，重启电脑也是一样，这是怎么回事？

（1）网络问题
首先ping 一下网关通不通
如果通找一个外网IP ping一下
如果还通就是DNS有问题了。

（2）启动的时候看到nvidia的logo了吗？

(1) 是在终端ping是么？
     ping www.google.com -> 没有任何反应
     ping 192.168.0.1 ->100% packet loss
     
(2) 我启动的时候看到nvidia的logo了

     在桌面效果里，显示的信息是：
     Video card:  nVidia Corporation Unknown device 0397(r...
                         Your graphics card is not in Xgl's database.
     3D Acceleration: Disabled
     Desktop Effects: Disabled

在设置路由的选项里，
默认网关下面的Routing Table, "Expert Configuration"需要打上勾和增加地址么？
最下面的那项"Enable IP Forwarding"需要打上勾么？

说明你的机器和路由之间是不通的，你可以通过192.168.0.1登到你路由的控制台吗？不会是IP搞错了吧。

IP没有搞错，是192.168.0.1，我可以通过这个IP登到路由

每次开机都能看到nvidia的logo，然后进入桌面后，网络又可以正常连接
可是，桌面效果是被禁止的，网页又都打不开
这是怎么回事啊

If you got the message "Your graphics card is not in Xgl's database." and you know you have a card that supports 3D Accelation, then you can try overriding the auto-detected settings. See the next section for details on doing this.

If the Desktop Effects tool doesn't recognize your video card, it might think that 3D Acceleration is disabled even though you know it's really enabled. Since Desktop Effects won't let you enable Xgl unless it thinks 3D Acceleration is enabled, this can be a problem.

To override the autodetected setting for 3D Acceleration, hold down the Shift key and then double-click on the word "Disabled" next to "3D Acceleration". Only do this if you are certain that 3D Acceleration is enabled on your machine. (For the record, you can also do this to change its idea of whether or not your video card is supported, but that's even less recommended.)

Desktop Effects 已经启用了，拖动窗口的时候有颤动，这些效果都有了
只是3D加速这个，还是被禁止，就算我按shift然后左键点击两次把它给启用，如果关了桌面效果这个窗口，再打开一看，还是被禁止了，奇怪啊！
我的显卡是nvidia geforce go 7700，不可能没有3D加速功能啊

刚才又试了一下，虽然在“桌面效果”里，3D加速显示的是disabled，但是进行一些操作，比如拉着窗口到屏幕边缘，或是ctrl-alt-leftClick进行拖动，CTRL + ALT + Left or Right Arrow，等等，3D的效果都能显示出来
看来是没有什么问题，只是我不懂得这些键，也没有进行试验，只看到3D加速被禁用，就以为不能用了
