Celebration of susseful installation of Debian

conf:

net install from debian.org and Uchicago.edu
whole system ocupies 1.8 G
base system + Gnome+ Fvwm + Oppenoffice
Vmware tools is a must, cause I dont want to really install linux on my T60, that means  I have to throw away the thankvantage software package, and vm tools is excellent!

among all the feathures inside Debian, I love the Gnumeric spreadsheet the most, because it has a free solver solution, god damn it, it is terrific!

dont need KDE, dont need sound, dont need input method, dont need movie player, dont need beautiful fonts, dont need Vista alike enviroment, it is just adding to my load. and dont need 2.6 kernel, 2.4 is good enough for a virtual system.

我是这样看我们学校的在线电影的。我们学校电影要密码只能用realplay,安装realplay后
在firefox地址栏里输入：about:config
点右键新建字符串：
名称为
network.protocol-handler.app.rtsp
值为：realplay
这样就可以看rtsp的了

如果不网站不用realplay输入密码，也许mplay也可以。

楼上，这个方法尝试过了，有中文目录的不成，而且我也没有其它的rtsp站点测试。
不想装M$，所以这样将就一下就OK了
