Debian下编译不了emacs23,求助。

我用的Debian etch,我从emacs.cn上下载了一个emacs-unicode-2_2006-12-17_cvs.tar.gz, 按http://my.donews.com/wangbin1979 ... rkhdzcyyuvxkhpvihb/
上面的说明执行编译，当我make bootstrap时，提示：
../src/emacs: /lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ../src/emacs)
make[3]: *** [autoloads] 错误 1

我又执行:
apt-get install libc6，在编译，错误依旧，求助！

sid里的libc6还是2.3.6的
experimental里有2.5-0exp3的
个人感觉debian里的emacs-snapshot已经很好用了
% dpkg -l | grep emacs-snapshot
ii  emacs-snapshot    20061221-1

请问是不是emacs-snapshot-unicode-gtk显示中文的效果更好呢？

不是很清楚，没用过
debian里的还没启用xft，可以自己重编后启用，个人还是喜欢原来的基于xaw3dg的东东

打开了xft
