update的时候老是说有conflict

刚装完MDK10 是下载完4张CD 解压到同一个文件夹里 硬盘安装的。
记得在初装的时候选了许多软件包
可是装完后 进入了系统 发现有许多没有装。

然后用update升级 可选择了一些后按install 老是说软件包之间有冲突

这个是不是说明只能安装其中一个啊？

还是安装有问题??

I have Mandrake10 offical installed (burned ISOs).

I didn't meet these update conflicts when I updated, so maybe there is some problem about your installation.

i'm not so sure,
for instance, when i try to get clusternfs-3.0.rc2-10mdk.i586installed, the pop windows says that,
the following package has to be removed for others to be upgraded which is nfs-utils-1.0.6mdk.i586,
due to confilicts with clusternfs-3.0.rc2-10.mdk.i586

when i clicked yes, another warning came over to say that some other relvant packages need support from nfs-utils-1.0.6-1mdk.i586

confused...

actually i dont have any idea what are they, but the question is if that would be possible to get every available package installed??

sorry I can not give help.

It seems the update runs smoothly and package installation (through "urpmi") goes on quite well in my laptop (Compaq presario).

could you tell me how'd you use the "urpmi" to do a fully, if possible, update??

I use 'urmpi' for installing package.

Control Center for update.

不知道楼主说的update是什么东西。Mandrakeupdate 是用来给系统打安全补丁的。安装软件就都从控制中心里面装就肯定没问题了。

我的意思是当我用控制中心里面找出所有available的那些软件包

然后安装的时候 就会说和另外一个软件包有冲突 问我是否要先uninstall那个软件包再安装新的。

I quite forgot!!!

and i converted the CD that i've already burned from the original ISOs into ISO files by myself, i checked them, HOWEVER, the MD5 values differ from what they are supposed to be......

does that mean those ISO files are corrputed or invalid??

55555555555555555  i downloaded all 4 CDs.... i dont want them to become craps....
