你一个一个命令打一下，看是在哪里出的错。

手动把./configure --prefix=/mnt/lfs/static
打打看看

少了一个"-"
--prefix
不是-prefix

automake --version
把结果贴出来看看

--prefix是让它装在一个地方啊，怎么会错呢，你这样make distclean
再试试
