“我要走了”当然是原本的意思，我这儿介绍的是“人有三急”(When you've got to go, you've got to go. )的意思。再看看这个例句：
My grandfather was quite a card.  The last thing he said on his deathbed was. "Don't worry about me.  When ya gotta go, ya gotta go." 意即：人死如撒尿，不去不行！

You guys can sit around and fiddle while Rome burns if you want to, but I'm going to try to do something to prevent this company from going bankrupt.

Thank you for your compliment!  I've been studying these phrases these days and think it might be a good idea to post them here so that other people can study them too.   By writing them out here, it helps myself remember these expressions and it's also a good way to force myself to learn a little bit more day by day.

BTW, it would be nice if you pay a little more attention to your spelling, for instance, all roads lead to Rome, and my ID is Hauser, not Houser.;)

Don't tell the boss I was late today.  I'm already in the doghouse as it is.
