用普通用户起动”galeon 1.3.10 gaim 0.71 stardict ..."不能显示中文

实在不行，就把字体copy到~/.fonts/目录里吧(注意文件属性要用户可读)
再以用户身份执行fc-cache -f -v

按照版主的方法试了一下。
第一次：
1:copy fonts to the directory ~/.fonts
2:run fc-cache -f -v
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/DIY": caching, 0 fonts, 0 dirs
Can't save cache in "/usr/share/fonts/truetype/DIY"
第二次：
1:cpoy fonts.dir fonts.alias fonts.cache-1 fonts.scale encoding.dir   to ~/.fonts
run fc-cache -f -v
fc-cache: "/home/jin/.fonts": caching, 26 fonts, 0 dirs
再运行  galeon . gaim ....
结果还是一样。

上帖发错了。第一次的directory 应该是 ~/.fonts.而不是/usr/share/fonts/turetype/DIY..

我没辙了...

另外，fonts.dir fonts.alias fonts.scale encoding.dir这几个文件跟你目前所使用的xft引擎无关，fonts.cache-1是由fc-cache自动生成的

试试看把 /etc/profile 文件里的语言环境变量改成跟.bashrc一样以后行吗？
