这个只是窗口管理器，它跟你以前见的gnome,xfce都不一样，它就只有一个软件jwm。你装了它之后还要自己装文件管理器比如rox-filer，和其它的所有可能的软件。

直接 apt-get install jwm 就行了，jwm全名是Joe's window manager，只是个窗口管理器。所以不想Gnome那样有一套的组件什么的，其它的东西比如电源管理器，网络管理器，文件管理器什么的都要自己装。 因此它也就轻量很多，占资源非常少，比如不开其它的软件时内存只有80M不到，Jwm本身只占2M内存。


我看上它是它配置简单，还有自带了个不错的panel。

用jwm配置简单，也不算瞎折腾，gnome等桌面环境虽然简单，不过我还得优化，倒需要瞎折腾

对于linux，有两个目的，用和学，如果用的话，这位老兄说的很对；如果是学习的话，可以多折腾，兴趣是学习最大的动力。

现在换回gnome咯，还有更多有意义的事情要做～

Negative.  I dislike desktop environment and I can live with tiny WM such as jwm.
