I normally use hackedbox (i.e. stripped down version of blackbox), windowlab and lwm.

In particular, windowlab consumes the least resources (CPU and memory), very very very lightweight, configurable and much better than wm2 or lwm (non-configurable).

But hackedbox is still my favourite.
