现在的panel增加了什么新功能呢？
以前的panel虽然有趣
但始终是感觉不够完善

最大变化就是panel上的任何东西(包括图标和applet等)可以锁定了
panel本身的显示效果也有变化，比较自动隐藏之类的功能都跟原来不同了

spring-loaded folder是干什么的？

你说的层级功能，点地址栏的箭头就有了啊，另外bookmark功能很实用 ;)

spring-loaded folder..援引gnome user's board上某人的介绍:
"
"Spring loading" a folder is when, from a user standpoint, you drag a file in Nautilus over the icon representing a folder. After some set period of hovering (1 second or something) over that icon, Nautilus opens that folder or "drills down" further so that you can drop the file you are holding deeper into the directory structure. Once the file is dropped, the folders that opened due to you hovering over them "spring" closed again and you find yourself looking at your original Nautilus window, minus the file that you just moved elsewhere.

Does that make it clear? Kinda hard to explain I think . It's kind of neat, but nothing too fascinating.
