[求助]关于ATI 8.42.3 驱动开3D

前两天装好了8.42.3驱动，没想到不能开3D
在“图形卡和监视器”设置里，启用3D加速的复选框是灰色的不能选
一运行glxgear就死机，开个带3D的屏保也死机，初步估计只要是涉及3D就死机
郁闷了

貌似你用了支持aiglx的ati驱动而且开了xgl。suse默认支持xgl

不需要xgl，直接用显卡的aiglx就可以运行compiz或者beryl

“桌面效果”里面提示不支持3D，所以无法开启

我有类似的问题, 我的是ATI9550的老显卡, 使用suse10.3安装好以后不装ati驱动可以开3D和xgl,但是gnome下经常会gnome桌面无故重启.
安装ati驱动8.42.3后不能开3D, 强行开xgl后gnome反应缓慢.据说此驱动支持aiglx.
换个老版本的驱动再试试.

原因可能不大对。我也出现同样的问题。好象是个bug。

首先是CCC打不开，在终端执行amdcccle，给出：

1. tao:/home/kmz # amdcccle
2. amdcccle: xcb_xlib.c:52: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed.
3. Aborted

老版本驱动没有10.3 IA32选项, 不能装了.
有没有高手解决此问题? 帮助帮助小弟们.

不要看什么什么选项能不能选，在xorg.conf里面Section "ServerLayout"下面添加option "AIGLX" "true"，登出，登录，直接安装beryl或者compiz，启动就可以了。

如果非要用自带的，那么上面那个option就改成false。然后你再试试看启动xgl。

至于启动ati的ccc不能启动是因为2.6.23内核的原因，ati的控制中心只支持2.6.22内核。
