[醒目]glibc-2.4-r2取消了userlocales的USE

请设置过userlocales的兄弟提供不同locale下的情况。

$ sudo locale-gen

是的--暂时是可以--会自动导成/etc/locale.gen--不过估计以后的版本可能会不会了You really should do this yourself ...

终于比较方便了。debian有不少好工具值得借鉴。

好像删除了/etc/locales.build后不行呀？！
当我删除/etc/locales.build，仅保留/etc/locale.gen，然后emerge gcc glibc，并没有生成设置的locale，仅仅有默认的C。
我哪里设置错了。

现在的情况

1. #locale -a  
2. locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
3. locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
4. locale: Cannot set LC_COLLATE to default locale: No such file or directory
5. C
6. POSIX

现在正在把/etc/locales.build恢复了，重新emerge gcc。

食古不化

另外问一句，locale是编译gcc时候生成的？还是编译glibc的时候生成的？
