cant type chinese

im sorry to use english here: for i cant type chinese here.
i installed the ati video driver failure,and then startx ,and i find i cant type the chinese that time .
the system give a error imformation :
it comes to a small problem when loaded "OAFIID:GNOME_imswitcher"
do u want to delete the small programm from ur setting?

Of cause the information is given by chinese,i trasforted to english.
Could anyone give some help?thanks a lot ~!

怎么没有回复呢？我再把问题说一下吧。我的显卡是ati的，下载了驱动安装之后没有找到正确的显卡，反而在xwindow启动的时候出现了一个错误提示，大致是说我的某个小程序出现错误，问我要不要删掉它。此时我的输入法就锁定为英文，ctrl space 不能使用了。看那小程序名有 switcher字样，我怀疑是快捷键的切换出了问题。请问怎么解决？
