以下是转贴自DLG论坛:(建议楼主看一下再决定装不装DLG)
1. I knew going in that some stuff wouldn't work
2. This really isn't a "bug" report as I'm using the stable DLG 2.8.2 on Slack 10.1 beta 1 (slackware-current). Basically it's just a few of the oddities that I've experienced and wanted to report on, but didn't know where else to put them.
Of course the first one was having to use the --force option to install DLG as my Slackware version is now reported as 10.1.0. Cool
Application/Desktop Preferences/Keyboard
"Hangs" when I try to launch it and never loads. This has already been reported so I didn't figure it would work but I gave it a shot. Running gnome-keyboard-properties from a terminal exits with the following error:
Code:
*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x40c2ba40 ***
I figure there'll be several of these as Slackware-current uses a newer verison of glibc than what DLG is compiled against. Funny thing is the Keyboard Shortcuts works. Question
System Tools/Network Configuration
Works but there was a "screen" that poped up and I was given a list of several Distro's to select. I selected Slackware 10.0 and it worked after that.
Now the "wierd" stuff:
I can open Applications:/// (Actions/Run Application/Applications:///), I can add folders and launchers, even copy/cut-n-paste programs from other folders, no problem. The new folders that I create show up, albeit not with their "Custom Icon" I selected, and the icons that I copied (or cut-n-pasted) from other folders will show up when click on Applications/New Folder, however any new launchers that I created do not show up. I run Applications:/// again and there they are. Click on Applications and then New Folder and only the already existing icons are visible, even after a reboot. (Is there some kind of "gnome-fix-it" command that will update or should it just happen "automagically")
Like I said, I knew going in that there would be some problems and these "problems" are MINOR compared to what I thought might happen. This is not really a "bug" report but more of a "Well, dagnabit!" report . Smile
