我已经按精华区里面讲的那样来配置网络了,但还是不能上网,谁能帮我？

刚装了10.0。我这里上网是通过一个带路由功能的ADSL modem上网的,如果是在windows下只要设好ip,掩码,网关和dns就没问题了。我在mandrake里面也是这样,但是却连那个modem都ping不到,不知是什么问题呢？

new discovery: i finally get the connection now, but i did tick the ¨start on boot¨ and ¨network hot plugging¨ options. i am using an english version, as you can see i cant type chinese now, wonder if that makes any difference.

我的也是阿，完全按照精华区的图示又重新设置了一下，还是不能上网，用route查看的时候，只有local 127.0.0.0, ping不通。。。。。
我用的是LAN，到底怎么回事呢，多多指教阿
