stable 将是 v2.0 ,希望能有更多的colorspaces
不过，1.3系列已经够稳定了。

不过比较悲哀的是对cmyk的完全支持听说要到2.2或者是3了


The plans were changed this summer, since the developers think that the Gimp 1.3 series is so different from Gimp 1.2 that it's worth giving it a new major version number. Thus the next stable series will be 2.0.

Support for other colorspaces and other goodies that will come out of gegl are going to be in some later version.
1- gimp 2.0 will not contain proper CYMK support, nor floating point support.
2- gimp 2.0 is to be soon released. Last week, there were about 12 blockers, and the number is decreasing. Then 1 or 2 pre and gimp 2.0 will be out, most probably this year.
3- work for proper CYMK and floating point (GEGL based) will start after 2.0 is realeased for gimp 2.2 or gimp 3.0.
