下载安装KDE11。1的LIVECD，和XP双系统，安装完毕重启进不了系统提示operating system missing，安装DVD没有问题，为什么呀，特地格了正在使用的DVD版的，想安LIVECD，晕死了

安装时选择grub安装位置，应该就可以。
我以前安装11.0时也是。后来用修复系统，安装grub引导记录就解决问题了。

我经常遇到这种问题的.当然是grub没有安装到mbr了。
方法：（用光盘引导进入已经安装的系统）
下面，我本级的例子：
首先，编辑/boot/grub/menu.lst

然后安装boot loader 到mbr
grub进入命令环境；
>boot (hd0,*) #*为/boot所在的盘符。
>find /boot/vmlinuz
>setup (hd0)
>setup (hd0,*)#同上
>quit

或者安装到/boot /boot必须是主分区并且是active的
