1. Why chinese characters are not the same size in Firefox tab titles?
  I've installed Simsun using Gnome2 System Configuration / Fonts / Install fonts
  It seems that GTK2's chinese chars is ok, but X's is not;

2. SCIM conflicts with D4X, a multi-threaded downloading tools for X
  Someone pls recommend one downloading tool like Flashget,
  or solve this SCIM problem? (immodule.so segmentation fault)
  I am currently not able to input chinese (SCIM is uninstalled)

Motivation

1 I don't know coz I don't use ff
2 Fcitx is also available in MDK 10.1

终于搞定了scim的问题。。。
scim的gtk immodule有问题，mdk10.1自带的scim0.99.9的xim居然也有bug，
使用scim1.0.2 xim就可以了。
［注］locale是纯英文，en_US.UTF-8，喜欢纯英文的可以看看。

1。反安装所有系统自带的scim-0.99.9的rpm
2。安装scim-1.0.2 fc3软件包（sf.net没有mdk的rpm，没办法）
3。禁止gtk immodule, 在/etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules.lib，把scim的部分注释掉
4。开启en_US.UTF-8的XIM（默认没有）
编辑/etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules.lib，把xim部分的locale改为“＊”
5。在~/.bashrc添加：export XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
6。gnome2的startup program添加scim -d
7。logout/login

这样之后，就是纯粹的en_US.UTF-8和scim了！非常不错。

［补］scim gtk immodule和好几个程序冲突，必须禁用；
  scim 0.99.9的XIM和firefox有冲突。
这两点可以确定绝对是scim的问题。
