有没有人听说过Mepis Linux这个东西？？

有没有人听说过啊，这个在市场上买来的时候是印着红旗2003正式版的，但是装上之后看，不是，还是英文版本的。不过用起来很好用的，呵呵。
她有两张安装盘，一张安装盘，能用它直接进光盘系统，一张是软件，全是deb包。

It is similar to Knoppix which is Debian based but specifically designed for desktop applications.

I tried SimplyMEPIS-2004.03, it does not support Chinese. Don't know the latest SimplyMEPIS-2004.04.

If you can configure your locale, mepis 2003.10 supports chinese.

newly released simplymepis 2004.06 supports chinese and janpanese directly, that means you can view and input chinese without special configure on locale

我至今仍用 mepis2003.10, 不过kde 升级到 3.4.2 了。

Linux 还有盗版吗？　我也用了Mepis Linux 2003。很好用，就是是英文版的。不过加入中文字体和输入法后还是不错的。我很喜欢他的界面，不喜欢象红旗这样，做的和个Windows似的，早就看够了他那张脸，才用Windows的。其实我买的时候也以为是红旗的呢。

mepis 3.4-3用了debian的源，全部update了，直今scim都无法在firefox输入中文。firefox1.5也没有中文包。
