装完LFS后还有一个问题，请教各位大虾！

所有的配置都是按照安装文档进行的，最后也能启动了，但网卡启动不了，好像提示是什么没有该设备吧：（

我是在VMware中的RH9中装的，RH9中的网卡是没有问题的。

LFS启动的时候提示出错信息如下：

Bringing up the eth0 interface...
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
eth0: unknown interface: No such device

You should not be reading this error message. It means that an unforseen error took place in /etc/rc.d/rc6.d/K80network, which exited with a return value of 255

你的网卡是什么型号?硬件要在内核里加驱动的.

在2000中看到的是：
Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection

机器是IBM的品牌机

你进redhat下,用dmesg看看网卡的信息,然后在LFS上一样配置就行了.

vmware下面不是实际的网卡型号的，太具体不记得了，回家才知道.
找到了，我原来发了一个帖子：

这种网卡我用过，核心自带的模块是:eepro100

他是在vmware下装,用的不是主系统的网卡的,而是amd pcnet32
在精华区里有vmware的硬件指南,很有用.
