yes ,agreed.
firefox is installed to /usr/lib64/firefox by default. your self-made firefox may conflicts with the original one if you didnt uninstall the orginal completely.
the original folders are:
etc/.preload.d/firefox
usr/lib64/firefox
usr/bin/firefox
home/your-usrname/.mozilla/firefox
etc/gconf/gconf.xml.schemas/apps/firefox
etc/gconf/gconf.xml.schemas/schebmas/apps/firefox
try to uninstall it clearly and re-install it by one-click install from official software search or opensuse's united kingdom site.
by the way, firefox 3.5b4 is starting quite slow in opensuse x86_64, not as fast as 3.0. it is caused by npviewer, which means the flash plugin is not so compatible. please first think then do. |
