为什么mplayer安装后没有图形界面呢？

为什么mplayer安装后没有图形界面呢？现在只能听到声音，直接双击mplayer软件图标打不开任何东西，但通过命令用mplayer播放文件时候，责只能听见声音，仍然没有图形界面出现。。。

解码安装了吗？
gui安装了吗？编译的话需要./configure --enable-gui

另外还有一个问题就是：linux编译安装的软件，安装之后其具体的位置还是在原来的文件夹麻？比如我安装mplyaer时候，把编译文件放在了桌面，那么编译安装后的软件文件还是在那个文件夹下不？如果删除了这个放在桌面的文件夹，是不是我的软件就不能运行了？
如果是这样的话，对编译安装的软件一般放在什么目录下会比较合适呢？

安装后一般一/usr或/opt中，看看文件中的说明吧，或者搜索一下。
