I met a trouble on setuping WiFi. Normally, I set "Do not broadcast the SSID" on my wireless router, and used WEP 128bit.
Upper setup runs smoothly under Windows XP condition. But in SUSE 10.3 KDE, It cannot run correctly.
1, If I set "SSID" as hidden item, then, the detected signal sent from router is very weak. Then, I have to set "SSID" as visible item for getting a better signal strength.
2, WEP can not be supported perfectly, according to the hint, I used WPA2, 63 letters' password. God!!
Who can kindly let me know the real reason of Q1 & Q2?
Could use some software to solve the first problem?
Thanks. |
