求gentoo linux 2007.0版本nvidia 7300显卡安装方法[问题解决］

我的显示器是三星226bw，目前的分辨率是1024*768，看起来实在是别扭，希望通过安装显卡驱动支持高分辨率的显示1680*1050，看过一些文章也实过，以前能emerge 的nvidia的那些驱动程序现在已经不行了。希望能够得到解决。

2.6.19或者以后的都可以.
你需要把/usr/src/linux link到当前内核的source
就是版主贴的howto的 安装内核源代码 那部分

emerge nivdia-drivers 已经成功了！但是接下来modprobe nvidia 失败

FATAL:Module nvidia not found.

你把 ls -l /usr/src/linux 和 uname -a 两个命令的输出贴上来看看?

还有 emerge -pv nvidia-drivers 的信息
如果你用新版本的内核启动了的话,还有可能就是这个nvidia-drivers版本的驱动不支持7300.
