我以root身份在#下输入chkconfig bash: service: command not found!!

如题，请教老哥们，为什么啊。
还有

debian:~# service netwokmanager start
bash: service: command not found

chkconfig、server那是rh里的命令，debian里的server一般是放在/etc/init.d/里，所以启动时一般是这样运行的：
#/etc/init.d/xxx start(stop/restart...)
xxx即是你想要的服务
