please help me with the fcitx installing

i have tried so many times,but the fcitx just does't work under my gnome.
i have googled some websites and tried some ways,
like creating a file under /etc/X11/Xsession.d/ with some export commands ,
or just editting the /etc/X11/Xsession file.
i use ctrl + space to change my input method after i startx,bu it doesn't work.
nothing happens when i edit my text file,still English ,no Chinese
i don't know why and how to fix it.
i need some help.

i type the command
#locale -a
and the output informatios is:

C
en_US
en_US.iso88591
POSIX
zh_CN
zh_CN.gb2312

below the POSIX we can see are:
zh_CN
zh_CN.gb2312

is here something wrong?
may it be the mistake from my dpkg-reconfigure locales?
