hp EVO 620c笔记本安装debian时broadcom网卡连不上网

debian在hp evo n620c笔记本上安装时，broadcom的网卡的驱动有问题，怎么也连不上网。lsmod显示有tg3（broadcom网卡的驱动）， 被使用的那一列是0，怎么设置一下才能连上网？

此问题已在本论坛搜索了，可是没有解决的方法，请各位大侠帮忙。

PS：evo620的笔记本默认分辨率是1400x1050，在列表中没有，如何设置？

你是用什么方式上网的，adsl, lan or others.
如果网卡驱动模块上了，设置一下 /etc/network/interfaces 这个文件，然后重启一下网络 /etc/init.d/networking restart 或主机。
分辨率 1400x1050 可以自己在 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 自己手动加上去，应该就可以用了。

我也搞不清楚是什么方式上网，在台式机上用pppoeconf设置可以的，但是在笔记本上用pppoeconf时，检测网络失败

pppoeconf 应该是 adsl 方式之类。ifconfig  -a 能看到 eth0 么？

我把pppoeconf时的抓图附上，第二个图中的文字：
                   NOT  CONNECTED                     
          Sorry, I scanned 1 interface, but the Access

           for the scan failure may also be another running pppoe   
           process which controls the modem.

这到底是怎么回事？

我估计是 eth0 没有自动起来，楼主试试看下面方法：

editor /etc/network/interfaces

auto lo eth0
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet static
address 10.0.0.1 #这里写你自己的内网 ip
netmask 255.255.255.0

重启用 ifconfig 看看 eth0 起来没有。起来了就能用 pppoeconf

以上方法不行，看下面连接：

这两个方法都试过了，都不行。ifconfig时eth0还是没有，ubuntu论坛中的那个方法连lo都没有了。

以前用台式机装debian时，网络设置安装时就搞定了。而在笔记本上，安装版本stable、testing和unstable都试了，都不能在安装过程中搞定。现在安装了debian的CD1后还是搞不定，没有网络，怎么继续安装啊？郁闷！！

你用的是那个内核安装的？bcm的网卡debian是可以安装的，sarge应该是没问题的，两台dell台式机及集群都是broadcom的千兆网卡都是安装的好好的（2.6.8-2-686内核）。
