求助:debian下如何安装显卡驱动?

终于把DEBIAN安装上了。但是显示器闪的太厉害.于是想装显卡驱动.看了精华贴里面说
----------------------------------------------------
apt-get install kernel-image-2.6.0-1-686 (or kernel-image-2.6.0-1-k7)

nvidia user:
apt-get install nvidia-glx nvidia-kernel-common nvidia-kernel-2.6.0-1-686( or
nvidia-kernel-2.6.0-1-k7)
-----------------------------------------------
但是我的内核是2.6.8-2.686 找不到 nvidia-kernel-2.6.8-2.686这个文件啊。
还有....是不是输入上面2个命令就安装上驱动了?还是有其他的办法????
望大侠指点...(请说详细点.新手.)

NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run
然后
[PHP]#:sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run[/PHP]
就可以了

我上次#:sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run 装完后X就起不来了。我没有修改过xorg.conf。

以前用的xfree86 server
但重装以后竟然默认装的是xorg。
apt源上的ati显卡驱动没法用了。不支持xorg
请问有没有直接apt-get的源？

我上次#:sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run 装完后X就起不来了

这个问题我是没有遇到过的，从新xconf试试吧。

sid 中的驱动吗？ 支持 xorg 阿，我就是用的这个。

我的是ustc的。

不知道如何象那样引用代码。我就只复制关键的那段：

之后.提示错误啊.一堆英文似乎是kernel问题..

上面大概有四个类型，
一个光是*-1-686 一个是*-1-686-k7,一个是*-1-686-k7-smp 一个是*-1-686-smp
这些都是什么意思.
