先aptitude install build-essential， 其余的包差什么你到http://debian.cn99.com/debian/dists/testing/Contents-i386.gz
搜一下， 缺啥装啥。

mplayer的README, INSTALL里头应该也说明了它需要什么库。

你最好使用cvs的方式来进行mplayer的编译安装，因为源码包的那些软件很久没有更新了，很多使用只能使用gcc3.x+gtk1.2的版本来编译，这样编译出来的mplayer有很多问题，如果你使用CVS方式安装mplayer的话，可以使用最新的gcc4.X+gtk2.0的方式来安装，具体方法参照此帖吧http://www.linuxsir.cn/bbs/showthread.php?t=235924
