现在不能网络安装Sid了？

今天从Debian官方下载页上下载了Sid的最小基本系统安装CD（116M？），可以安装时总是基本系统装不上，说什么archie版本不对之类的。在http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/Today上看到说16号开始不能网络安装，但从18号后都可以了：
Current issues

[16 Apr 06] Installing the base system from netinst and full CDs that were built since probably the beginning of this month has been broken because of a change in the dependencies of a package in base. The issue has been fixed and images built on 18 April and later should be OK again.

[1 Aug 05] sparc: netboot image needs to be passed ramdisk_size=16000 to boot the 2.4 kernel properly.
现在已经过了18号了，应该可以了吧。

Sid/Unstable

You cannot install sid using the netinst CD daily image, only etch. Use netboot installation method or business card CD image.

看到了，这是什么原因？要等到什么时候才能装？
现在是到了安装基本系统这一步就报错：
Debootstrap Error
Failed to determine the codename of the release
然后就无法进行下去了。

都说网络安装只适用於 Etch 了，Sid 是不行的！

其实随便找个mini.iso，刻盘进行网络安装就可以了。
先安装一个基本系统，然后再进行升级就可以了。

我安装的时候就是用stable的网络安装盘，然后修改/etc/apt/sources.list，修改成testing的源，然后aptitude update && aptitude dist-upgrade就可以了。

偿试过用官方下载上Stable的ISO，也是一样的问题。
到安装基本系统这一步时出错提示：
Deboot Strap Error:
Failed to determine the codename of the release.

这个月初我也是从同一地方下载的Testing ISO，那时候安装没有任何问题啊。现在下载的地方是一样的，安装的方法也是一样的，只是那个ISO可能更新了，但就是装不上。

我用的是这个源上的

安装时出现启动画面时输入linux26，安装的时候就是选择的简体中文，没有出现问题呀！

这种mini.iso只有9M不到的大小，怎么装的？也是用grub等引导吗？

敢问一句各位,sid是不是指stable版??

debian的版本怎么那么多....,看了都眼花

什么叫做Sid 和Tech ,还有stable,testing,unstable

我折磨了半天,是不是Sid对应Unstable版,Tech对应testing版
因为我到网上下载iso的时候,打开文件目录Unstable后,它链接到Sid目录去的


不知道我这样想,正确与否,呵呵

刻盘，用光驱启动，在启动界面输入linux26（即安装2.6内核）。

这是一个完全的网络安装光盘，在安装过程中，首先会启动网卡，然后询问IP设置，并且会询问安装源。

然后会从网络下下载需要的安装包，在这个安装过程中，不管你使用的是哪个源，都会添加上官方的更新源，因此建议只是安装最基本的系统，然后进入系统后，设置一个快的源，并同时去除官方的升级源后，再进行版本升级和其他的软件安装。

我的做法是在内部网上做一个镜像，安装的时候选择自定义源，然后安装基本系统（因为这个时候会使用官方的升级源，所以包选择多了会相当书明慢）。

安装完成后，修改一下源（缺省安装的时候只有main这个部分），同时去掉官方的升级源后。

然后从网上找到ziyi_key_2006.asc这个文件
apt-key add ziyi_key_2006.asc（因为官方的key变了。）
再次运行
aptitude update
aptitude dist-upgrade（版本升级）

然后再安装相应的简体中文环境，X，简体中文桌面和其他的软件。

我安装的是testing版本

以后经常做做
aptitude update
aptitude dist-upgrade就可以保持系统常新了。
