I got 2 problems

I have installed Debian Testing on my laptop, I have got 2 problems:

1. When I dial up through adsl using the command"pon dsl-provider", I could not open file systems any more, but other applications, such as web browser and acrobat readers are all right. when I log off from the internet, everything is OK.

2. I installed fcitx, and configured it. when I type "fcitx" in the command line, i could see the label on top of the screen, however i still can not type chinese although i tried the most common hot-keys. does the SCIM have something to do with the problem?

1的问题我在寝室共享上网自己不用拨号时一切正常，可是回到家里只要拨号，就打不开文件系统，连下载时保存文件到文件系统都会死掉。 命令行用gedit打开任何文件也会死，只要adsl一断线就好了，奇怪的很。 我adsl的设置就是利用那个pppoe configuration来设置的，没什么奇怪的地方。
