strip doesn't do anything

yesterday after i had installed the lfs system.

what's wrong with my system and my strip?

正常的。strip有些文件格式是不认识的。但是已经有很多被strip了，你看看大小就知道了。

我的系统那时候是213M，里面有内核的源码，因为还要编译内核。

there is nothing in directory /usr/src .I complied the kernel in /mnt/lfs/static/src
why there is so much difference

你源码还没删吧？是不是放在/mnt/lfs/static/src里？

yes. I haven't deleted it.the whole directory /mnt/lfs/static holds
735M ( see above)
the /mnt/lfs holds 933M

933-735= ????

你大小和我一样啊，我的213M就是不包括/static的，不过里面有内核的源码，所以比你的大一点。

I had make a mistake.Just now I caculate the 933-735=298!!So I think there must sth wrong with my system.In fact ,it's my stupid!!
