刚启动时的内存比以前启动时多了30M ！！！

today I start my mdk (not graphic),and type 'free'
it told me there is 69M memery used !
before it is always 39 M when start.
I can not beleave ! reboot !
still aboult 69M memery in usring !!!

there may not any strange thing happened ! but my CRT displayer seems darker then before ,what's wrong ?
