奇怪，把slackware 10的KDE装上后，系统有时会停住。

以前只用gnome，xfce等，最近一次装系统把kde也装上了，但是系统有时运行程序会突然停住，五，六秒后才继续运行，真郁闷！！

我也是，好象硬盘在逛转，红灯亮起，鼠标等都不动了，3，4秒后又正常了。

我机子停顿的时候，硬盘没有转。:confused:

Sorry I cannot type Chinese because I haven't gotten Chinese work well on my slackware 10. Someone please outline the steps!

Back to the KDE freezing problem. This problem occurs when KDE tries to read the CD-ROM to see if there is a CD. But permission stops KDE from doing so. Make fstab's CDROM line like this:

/dev/cdrom       /mnt/cdrom       iso9660     user,unhide,ro,noauto 0   0
